This a large Greek Orthodox church in Limassol. Lovely architecture - and part of the old town, which has quite few old buildings, some excellent restaurants and a very talented barber!

Abiding by the Helsinki Convention on holiday photographs, this is the sun resting on the sea after a long day over Paphos in south west Cyprus.

I hiked from Ayia Napa, close to the greenline back to Protaras, near Paralimni. The first part of the hike was well-paved but it was not a well trodden paved path - most people preferring to lie on a sun bed 5mm away from the next sun bed.

Later the paved path gave way to a marked (in places) footpath around cap greco. It is not a difficult hike though you should wear hiking boots rather than flip flops.

And you should also bring your swimming stuff. There are beautiful bays (visited by fleets of boats from Ayia Napa and Protaras) and some sea caves.
