If you're looking for a TEFL job but don't really know where to look you could do a lot worse than checking out some of these websites.
Dave's ESL cafe Dave Sperling's website with lots of useful material and huge lists of jobs. Plenty of cowboys here as well so read the forums carefully to see what is more likely to be legitimate.
ELT News ELT news is an online magazine based in Japan with lots of ELT features, job offers and an active message board. Very useful for those thinking of heading to Japan. Still useful for other new teachers.
ECC One of my TEFL Trainees recommends ECC and has promised a more detailed report later.
I had a link to the NOVA programme but have now removed it after hearing that they are in serious financial difficulties and aren't paying their staff. Any more news on this will be very welcome. More details can now be found here
Teaching in Asia website has a lot of information about, yes, teaching in Asia, with an emphasis on Japan and Korea.
Starting in Spain Live in a village in Spain for free - all you have to do is to chat to the Spaniards who have paid to be there. Jeremy hasn't tried it but it might be an interesting first step for new TEFL teachers.
