After a Czech starter and a Czech main course it is only the ravanous - or gluttonous, or a ravenous glutton - that have room for a Czech dessert. Here are a few you may encounter in the Czech Republic

pineapple dessert

ice cream and cornflakes

Ice-cream with cornflakes. Unusual, but good.

not fresh fruit - and icecream

More typically Czech, some sterilised fruit with ice-cream and lots of whipped cream. Czechs don't find it strange to eat cream and ice-cream together. It is still common to find sterilised fruit offered - even when the fresh fruit is in season.
